FAQ

Q: My Japanese is not very good. Can I still get a consultation?

I have experience as a Japanese language volunteer and always strives to explain things in simple and easy-to-understand Japanese, even for those who have recently arrived in Japan.
If you speak English, consultations can also be conducted in English.
Please feel free to contact me with confidence.

Q: Do you only provide services within Hiroshima?

For visa and naturalization applications, it is important for me to carefully understand each client’s individual situation. Therefore, I generally conduct consultations in person.

However, for clients who live outside Hiroshima, I also offer online consultations. You can contact me from anywhere in Japan or overseas.
Please feel free to apply for a free consultation through our contact form.

Q: What is included in the free consultation?

Free consultation (up to 60 minutes) covers general questions related to visa or naturalization applications.
During the session, I will review your situation to determine whether you meet the necessary requirements and the likelihood of approval for the desired visa or naturalization.

Please note that specific advice regarding required documents or application procedures is provided only to clients who officially request our services. As a general rule, free email consultations are limited to three exchanges.

Q: I’m worried about the price range. Will there be any additional charges?

The fees listed on my website are approximate estimates.
Depending on the content of your application and your individual circumstances, the final fee may vary slightly.
However, I make every effort to keep costs as low as possible through careful cost management.

After the initial consultation, I will provide a detailed quotation to those who wish to proceed with a formal request.
You can rest assured that I will begin work only after you agree to the quoted amount.

Please note that actual expenses such as government application fees, translation fees, and transportation costs are charged separately. However, no additional administrative scrivener fees will be charged beyond the quoted amount.

Q:If I hire your service, does that mean I won’t need to go to the Immigration Office myself?

Yes. In principle, applications to the Immigration Services Agency of Japan must be submitted by the applicant personally or by a representative authorized by law.

Only attorneys-at-law or administrative scriveners (gyoseishoshi) who hold the official Immigration Bureau application representation qualification are legally permitted to accept requests to submit application documents on behalf of applicants or their legal representatives.

As our office is an administrative scrivener office duly certified to act as a visa application agent for the Immigration Services Agency, we are able to provide comprehensive support, handling the entire process from preparation of application documents through to submission.
